Holiday Cards, to send or not to send…

I do like to send holiday cards, but I always try and put something in them that will stay around longer than the actual card, even if it is only a business card. I never send e-cards. For some people this might work, but for me the shelf life is just too short to bother. This has nothing to do with the environment or saving the post office, it just falls into my marketing philosophy. Each touch point with a customer or prospect should have a lasting positive impression.

That being the case, of course if you are working in the “green space” you would not want to send a regular paper card, but you could for instance send a card made from seed paper, printed with environmentally friendly inks.

If you do not have to worry about being green, and you want to send a “greeting card” that will stick around, how about a 25 sheet Post-It note pad with your holiday message as part of the imprint.
